When giving a gift at Christmas, there is something just as important as the gift that makes it way more appealing: a gift box. Handmade gift boxes make the gifts more unique and special instead of using pre-made boxes. Learn and create your very own gift box, which is unique, cheap, and fun.
Materials you will need:
- A gift box or a rectangular box
- Gift wrapping paper
- Scissors
- Glue or tape
- Ribbon or lace
- Gift tag
- Decorative items (optional)
First, purchase a wrapping paper that reflects the recipient’s style and personality. Then wrap the gift box with the gift wrapping paper, including the lid, and cover all sides of the gift box. While covering the box, you can use glue or tape. (If your box doesn't have a lid, cut a piece of cardboard.)
After covering the box, embellish the gift box with a ribbon. Tie a ribbon around the box and attach a gift card with a personalized message to the gift box. You can also attach some decorative items, such as bows, to the box. And your gift box is ready!
