How Can You Save Money on Christmas Gift Wrapping?

  • When budgeting for Christmas gifts, I tend to overlook the cost of the wrapping paper. The price may be negligible, but it quickly adds up, especially when you have many gifts to wrap. I almost always run out of wrapping paper before I finish wrapping the gifts, so to avoid this, I try to buy more than I need with the excuse that I’ll use whatever is left over next year.

The entire process is exhausting and costly, so I find ways to minimize the cost and reduce the time I spend wrapping gifts. One way to do this is by getting a gift that comes with a complimentary gift box.

An example is this wood pen set, an elegant gift available in maple, bamboo, or rosewood.  The personalized Christmas gift comes in a unique gift box with the recipient’s name engraved. The gift box is small, and it will take very little wrapping paper.

You can also get Christmas ornaments as Christmas gifts. You can engrave a personalized message to make the gift unique to the person receiving it. The gift comes in a pouch, so you may not need to wrap it. If you get multiple ornaments to give as Christmas gifts, you will save even the money you would have spent on wrapping paper.

This customized name necklace is another gift that will save you some wrapping paper. You can get the necklace in 925 silver, matte silver, gold, and rose gold. The chain is available in three lengths:14” (35cm), 16” (40cm), and 18” (45cm). The necklaces come in a special gift box. You may decide to give it as it is or wrap it. Given the size, it wouldn’t take much wrapping paper.
